It is with distinct pride and gratitude that I convey my sincerest greetings and felicitations to the Real Estate Brokers Association of the Philippines on its 32st anniversary.

As the host chapter of this year’s annual convention, I would like to congratulate all the hardworking National Officers and Board of Directors, as well as the officers and members of REBAP Pampanga for a job well done and for manifesting our renowned hospitality to all delegates, guests and friends. The province of Pampanga will now be remembered as a venue of renewed goals and strengthened commitments as a new year is about to unfold.

Indeed, 2010 is a very fruitful year for us, we are now recognized and respected as the Professionals that we are, major doors have been opened for our careers such as Corporate Employment and the continuous development of Projects where other countries have suffered a major blow in their economies.

However, we have also and are facing several challenges which will greatly impact not only our Profession but also those we serve.  The effects of the global financial crisis are still looming but our resiliency has countered this each and every time. Natural calamities as unfortunately as can be, have been a way of life, but we always find ways to uplift ourselves and clients to safer grounds.

 I am happy to report that we have overcome every obstacle that has come our way and now more than ever, we continue to be Advocates and custodians of our Trade.

Let us continue to stand tall and hold fast.
Let us always know and be proud of who we are.
Let us keep in mind the words of Richard W. Livingston:  “The difference between a professional person and a technician is that a technician knows everything about his job except its ultimate purpose and his place in the scheme of things.”
